Future Opening: Personal line Insurance Agency Customer Service Representative

Full time position available at local insurance agency as a personal lines customer service insurance representative. This is a service and sales position in which responsibilities will include answering inbound calls, answering policy or billing questions, endorsing policies, quoting and binding policies from servicing and cross-sale opportunities. Knowledge of rating and management systems (HawkSoft preferred) and working knowledge of carrier websites. Fast-paced office environment.

• Active CA property and casualty insurance license
• Experience with multiple insurance carriers
• Excellent communication skills over phone and via email
• Basic computer skills (experience with Microsoft Outlook, HawkSoft, FSC or PL Rater preferred)
• Ability to work well in a team in a fast-paced office setting
