Job summary

Richey Insurance Agency, LLC is seeking a Personal Lines Producer in Houston to manage profitable relationships with personal line clients and grow the book of business through new client sales. The role requires obtaining best coverage, quotes, and binding insurance while maintaining strong client relationships.

Responsibilities include identifying opportunities with clients, following up with timely quotations, and servicing existing clients.

Qualifications

• Hold the state insurance license and have a minimum of two years of personal and commercial lines account management experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree or comparable work experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of insurance products, rating and underwriting procedures.
• Proven business-to-business sales success with strong presentation and negotiation skills.
• Customer-focused, proactive, and capable of servicing existing clients and developing new relationships.
• Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills; able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, and develop personal insurance opportunities with clients in person, online, by phone, and via written communication.
• Foster and maintain relationships with clients and prospects through regular follow-up and timely quotations.
• Prospect round accounts and seek increases in existing coverage and new client opportunities.
• Obtain best coverage and rate, process quotes, and bind coverage; coordinate inspections and documentation.
• Maintain client relationships through renewal preparation and ongoing support.
• Monitor sales metrics and ensure targets are met with timely activity documentation.
• Collaborate with team members, mentor staff, and participate in meetings as needed.
