Job summary

Morgan & Morgan in Jersey City seeks a Pre-Suit focused Attorney to join our personal injury litigation team. You will manage high-volume pre-litigation work and guide clients through the case process.

This role requires a law degree, active NJ Bar, and leadership experience, with a focus on automotive personal injury. We offer strong benefits and a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Law degree from a fully accredited law school.
• Active member in good standing with the NJ State Bar Association.
• 2+ years of premises or personal injury experience.
• Ability to manage high volume of pre-lit cases.
• Excellent client service and communication skills.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Self-starter driven by long-term career goals.
• Superior writing and oral advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day handling of all pre-litigation work.
• Complete the Flip-to-Lit approval.
• Guide clients through the case process.
• Drafting and filing of pre-litigation documents.
• Complete TD approval for liability issues.
• Oversee settlement negotiations and the formation of demand packages.
• Manage the release approval process.
• Manage a team of 6-10 Case Managers.
• Focus on Personal injury cases, primarily automotive.
• Drive compliance and KPIs amongst team.
• EUOs, PIP Statements, recorded statements.
