Job summary

Orionplacement is seeking a paralegal to join a growing personal injury litigation team in Geneva, IL. This full-time, on-site role supports attorneys through the litigation process and helps draft pleadings, manage case files, and coordinate calendars.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of personal injury paralegal experience, strong communication, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of personal injury paralegal experience.
• Experience supporting personal injury litigation matters.
• Strong organizational and document management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple active files simultaneously.
• High attention to detail and strong follow-through.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software.

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys throughout the personal injury litigation process.
• Draft, review, and organize pleadings, discovery, correspondence, and legal documents.
• Manage case files and maintain litigation deadlines.
• Obtain and organize medical records, billing records, and supporting evidence.
• Communicate professionally with clients, medical providers, insurance carriers, experts, and opposing counsel.
• Prepare deposition, mediation, arbitration, and trial materials.
• Coordinate case scheduling and attorney calendars.
• Assist with settlement documentation and case resolution.
• Maintain accurate case management records while ensuring deadlines are met.

Job description

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
