Job summary

Confidential Employer in Chicago, IL, seeks an experienced litigation attorney to manage personal injury cases from filing through resolution, focusing on strong client advocacy and favorable results. You will investigate liability, damages, medical issues, and other facts to build compelling cases and draft critical litigation documents.

The role requires Illinois Bar admission, 3+ years in personal injury, and at least 3 civil jury verdicts.

Qualifications

• Licensed Illinois attorney in good standing.
• At least 3 years of personal injury litigation experience.
• Minimum of 3 civil jury trials to verdict completed.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Manage personal injury cases from filing through resolution with a focus on strong client advocacy and case results.
• Investigate liability, damages, medical issues, and other key facts to build compelling cases.
• Draft, file, and argue discovery motions, law and motion matters, oppositions to motions for summary judgment, and other critical litigation documents.
• Develop and execute case strategy in collaboration with attorneys, paralegals, and other legal professionals.
• Communicate consistently with clients and guide them through the litigation process with clarity and compassion.
• Handle complex and high-value litigation matters while continuing to strengthen courtroom and trial skills.
• Conduct legal research and prepare persuasive briefs, motions, and correspondence.
• Manage multiple cases, deadlines, and competing priorities while maintaining high standards of professionalism and client service.

Note
