Orion Placement is seeking a detail-oriented Personal Injury Legal Assistant to join our Geneva, Illinois office. You will provide administrative and litigation support to a growing team, manage case files, draft and organize documents, and coordinate deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications include 2+ years in personal injury litigation, strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and litigation support to attorneys throughout the personal injury case lifecycle.
• Prepare, proofread, and organize legal correspondence, pleadings, discovery, and other case documents.
• Maintain and organize case files while tracking important litigation deadlines.
• Coordinate medical records, billing records, and other case-related documentation.
• Communicate professionally with clients, medical providers, insurance carriers, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Schedule depositions, mediations, hearings, client meetings, and other legal appointments.
• Assist with trial preparation and settlement documentation.
• Maintain accurate case management records and ensure timely follow-up on outstanding items.
• Support attorneys in delivering exceptional client service throughout the litigation process.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Note: Applicants must have at least 2 years of personal injury law experience. Experience supporting either plaintiff or defense personal injury litigation is preferred.
