Job summary

Orion Placement is seeking a dedicated Personal Injury Paralegal for a full-time, on-site role in Geneva, IL. You will support attorneys through the injury litigation process, draft and organize pleadings, manage case files, and gather medical and billing records to help move cases forward.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of PI paralegal experience, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with MS Office and case management software.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of personal injury paralegal experience.
• Experience supporting personal injury litigation matters.
• Strong organizational and document management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple active files simultaneously.
• High attention to detail and strong follow-through.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software.

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys throughout the personal injury litigation process.
• Draft, review, and organize pleadings, discovery, correspondence, and legal documents.
• Manage case files and maintain litigation deadlines.
• Obtain and organize medical records, billing records, and supporting evidence.
• Communicate professionally with clients, medical providers, insurance carriers, experts, and opposing counsel.
• Prepare deposition, mediation, arbitration, and trial materials.
• Coordinate case scheduling and attorney calendars.
• Assist with settlement documentation and case resolution.
• Maintain accurate case management records while ensuring deadlines are met.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year

Location:

This is a full-time on-site opportunity based in Geneva, Illinois, where you'll work closely with attorneys and a dedicated legal team in a collaborative office environment.

Note:

Applicants must have at least 2 years of personal injury law experience. Experience supporting either plaintiff or defense personal injury litigation is welcomed.
