Job summary

The Law Offices of Kanner & Pintaluga PA seeks a Litigation Attorney in Chicago, IL. The attorney will meet with clients, discuss cases, and communicate with insurance companies; they should prepare cases for trial and may try cases when required.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of Personal Injury litigation experience, is admitted to the Illinois Bar, and can work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of Personal Injury litigation experience.
• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Member of the Illinois Bar and in good standing.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and be team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to discuss their case and explain legal options.
• Communicate with insurance companies regarding status of claims, demands, and offers.
• Prepare cases for trial and try the case if needed.
