The law firm in Illinois seeks an attorney to handle personal injury litigation for full-time clients. You will meet with clients, discuss cases, and coordinate with insurance companies to manage demands and offers. You will prepare cases for trial and try cases when needed.

The role requires a JD, admission to the Illinois Bar, 3–5 years of PI litigation experience, and strong negotiation and communication skills. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus; independence and teamwork are valued.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Active Illinois Bar in good standing.
• 3–5 years of Personal Injury litigation experience.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Proactive problem-solving and ability to work independently.
• Team-oriented and capable of working with colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to discuss their case and build trust.
• Update clients and communicate with insurance companies on claims.
• Prepare the case for trial and try the case if needed.
• Evaluate claims and negotiate settlements when appropriate.
