Kanner & Pintaluga in Chicago seeks an experienced Personal Injury attorney to join our team. You will meet with clients, assess claims, and work toward favorable outcomes while maintaining empathy and trust.

You will update clients and coordinate with insurance adjusters, prepare cases for trial, and, when necessary, try cases. Strong negotiation, communication skills, and independence are essential in this full-time role.

Qualifications

• Full-time
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• 3–5 years of Personal Injury litigation experience
• Member of the Illinois Bar and in good standing
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
• Experience evaluating claims
• Superb negotiation skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proactive problem-solving approach
• Ability to work independently in an office environment
• Team-oriented

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to discuss their case and build trust.
• Update clients and communicate with insurance companies regarding status of claims, demands, and offers.
• Prepare cases for trial and try the case if needed.
