Job Juncture in Chicago seeks an ambitious Litigation Attorney to handle personal injury cases from filing through resolution. You will work alongside experienced attorneys to develop case strategies, conduct investigations, draft and file motions, and maintain clear client communications throughout all litigation stages.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in personal injury with trial focus, at least 3 civil jury trials, and strong research, writing, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Active license to practice law in the applicable state.
• 3+ years of personal injury experience with a focus on trial work.
• Minimum of 3 civil jury trials to verdict.
• Strong knowledge of state laws, regulations, and procedures related to personal injury litigation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to draft and review legal documents.
• Ability to manage cases and advocate for clients to achieve positive outcomes.
• Experience conducting legal research and preparing briefs.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple cases.
• Professionalism, discretion, and handling confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Help manage personal injury cases from filing through resolution.
• Conduct thorough case investigations to establish liability and assess damages.
• Draft, file, and argue key litigation documents, including discovery motions and oppositions to motions for summary judgment.
• Collaborate with attorneys and legal professionals to develop and execute case strategy.
• Maintain consistent communication with clients and guide them through each stage of litigation.
• Gain hands-on experience handling complex and high-value litigation matters.
• Continue developing litigation skills through mentorship and ongoing professional growth opportunities.
