Burnetti, P.A. is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys through all phases of litigation. You will manage case files, coordinate with clients and legal professionals, monitor deadlines, and assist in trial preparation.

Strong organizational and communication skills are essential. Two+ years of litigation paralegal experience is preferred, with a focus on personal injury or medical malpractice. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and experience with Neos or Even Up is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of litigation paralegal experience; personal injury and/or medical malpractice experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills with the ability to manage a high-volume caseload.
• Knowledge of legal terminology, litigation procedures, and court deadlines.
• Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
• Experience with legal case management software; Neos and/or Even Up experience is a plus.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are preferred.

Responsabilités

• Serve as a primary contact for clients and court personnel.
• Maintain and organize case files and documents.
• Track litigation deadlines and court dates.
• Review and summarize medical records and case materials.
• Draft and file pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Coordinate the discovery process and responses.
• Conduct factual and legal research to support cases.
• Prepare attorneys for hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Assist with trial preparation including exhibits and witness files.
• Attend trials and hearings to support attorneys.
• Monitor case progress and identify next steps.
• Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to firm policies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
