Job summary

EverStaff, LLC is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys in managing plaintiff cases from filing through resolution in a fast-paced environment. You will handle pleadings, discovery, and trial materials while coordinating with medical providers, insurers, and clients.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of PI paralegal experience, a relevant degree, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Paralegal Studies or related field is required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• ABA-approved Paralegal Certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with all phases of personal injury litigation from filing through resolution.
• Draft, prepare, and file pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, notices, and settlement documents.
• Manage and maintain litigation calendars, court deadlines, hearing dates, deposition schedules, and trial dates.
• Review, organize, and summarize medical records, billing records, insurance information, and other case-related documents.
• Coordinate discovery, including document collection, production, and responses.
• Schedule and coordinate depositions, mediations, independent medical examinations, and expert witness consultations.
• Communicate with clients regarding case status, treatment updates, and document requests.
• Prepare case summaries, medical chronologies, damage analyses, and settlement demand packages.
• Conduct factual investigations and assist with locating witnesses and gathering evidence.
• Coordinate with medical providers, insurance adjusters, expert witnesses, court personnel, and opposing counsel.
• Assist attorneys in preparing for hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
• Prepare trial notebooks, exhibits, witness lists, jury instructions, and other trial materials.
• File documents electronically through state and federal court systems.
• Monitor case progress and ensure compliance with court rules and deadlines.
• Maintain confidential client information in compliance with ethical standards.
