The ideal candidate has proven paralegal experience, strong writing and organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment. Onsite in a professional office setting with full-time hours.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a paralegal in a litigation setting.
• Proficiency in legal research and drafting pleadings.
• Strong knowledge of personal injury litigation processes and related laws.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with all phases of personal injury litigation, including pre-trial, trial and post-trial activities.
• Conduct legal research and gather evidence to support case strategies (medical records, accident reports, witness statements).
• Draft legal documents such as complaints, motions, discovery requests, and settlement agreements.
• File and manage legal documents in court and meet procedural deadlines.
• Coordinate with clients, medical professionals, and expert witnesses for required information.
• Review and summarize medical records and case-related documents.
• Assist in discovery responses and manage the discovery process.
• Prepare case files and exhibits for depositions, hearings, and trials.
• Maintain case management systems with deadlines and correspondence.
• Communicate with clients to provide updates and schedule appointments.
• Support trial preparation including organizing exhibits and trial notebooks.
