Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented personal injury litigation paralegal to join our legal team. This position requires strong organizational skills, a solid understanding of legal processes, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands the flow of personal injury cases, and can communicate effectively with clients. You’ll work closely with our trial attorney to ensure every case is moving forward efficiently and every client feels heard, supported, and cared for. Responsibilities: • Manage legal case files using Filevine. • Manage litigation calendars and deadlines. • Maintain accurate records and documentation of all case-related activities. • Schedule mediations, depositions, hearings, etc. • Ensure compliance with legal procedures and deadlines throughout the lifecycle of the case. • Perform clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and document preparation. • Facilitate communication between clients, attorneys, and other parties involved in the case. • Draft and file pleadings, motions, etc. • Managing, drafting, and reviewing discovery responses timely and efficiently. • Maintain and follow up on all Non-Party production documents, including Requests for Copies and non-party logs. • Draft and review Civil Remedies Notices. • Trial preparation, including but not limited to the preparation of exhibits, witness materials and pre-trial documents. • Review, analyze and organize document productions by opposing parties and co-defendants. • Maintain regular client contact and provide updates in a clear and supportive manner. Qualifications: Skills • Strong understanding of Florida Rules of Civil Procedure and e-filing procedures. • High level of computer competency in the complete Microsoft Office Suite. Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe. • Knowledge of the E-filing system on both the State and Federal levels. • Strong knowledge of legal case management processes. • Attention to detail. • Ability to multitask independently. • Professional and pleasant demeanor. • Detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills. • Polished phone etiquette for professional client interactions. • Exceptional organizational abilities to manage multiple cases simultaneously. • Requires the ability to work a minimum of 40 Hours a week M-F 8:30 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. Compensation: $47,500

Compensation:
$47,500 per year
