We are seeking a proactive and motivated Paralegal to join our compliance and legal team. This role is 100% virtual, offering you the flexibility to manage your work from anywhere. The right person must be willing to learn compliance in order to be a strong team member who can collaborate and support colleagues.

What We're Looking For:

Responsibilities
• Assist with Compliance Testing and Documentation (Email Review, Billing Review, Advertising Review, Etc.)
• Assist with drafting and maintaining corporate records and contracts.
• Organize legal documents and maintain charts, spreadsheets, files, and status trackers.
• Preparation of opinion letters regarding restrictive legends and applicable backup materials.
• Assist in the reorganizations of corporate subsidiaries and related matters.
• File corporate annual reports and related filings in various states.
• Trial prep and support.
• Providing administrative support for documents and activities related to corporate restructurings, such as mergers, formations, and dissolutions.
• Manage email inbox and calendar.

Qualifications
• Steady, even pace of activity. A large degree of predictability from one day to the next. Job activities are consistent or even repetitive in nature, and results are repeatable. Well-defined processes and procedures exist to perform activities.
• People-focused, while being reserved in nature. Helpful, "service" orientation, Strong focus on repeatable, very high-quality results.
• Cautious, by-the-book decision-making is required.
• Examination of the facts, established procedure, or proven process must preclude decision-making (detailed knowledge of or training in those areas significantly aids decision-making).

• Need to speak with great specificity and knowledgeable detail about areas of responsibility; not required to speak at length about other topics.
• Some tasks require little collaboration to complete, while other tasks require communication and teamwork to complete; expertise comes from training, knowledge, and experience.
