Job summary

Confidential Employer is seeking a Paralegal with at least 2 years of personal injury experience to support pre-litigation work in a fast-paced Paramus office. You will monitor medical progress, manage client communications, and assemble essential records while coordinating with attorneys, providers, and insurers.

The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficient use of Microsoft Office and case management systems. Prior NY/NJ no-fault exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of personal injury paralegal experience.
• Understanding of pre-litigation procedures in personal injury.
• Knowledge of NY/NJ no-fault claims preferred.
• Excellent organizational and file management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple cases with attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage pre-litigation personal injury files from intake through settlement preparation.
• Monitor clients' medical treatment and case progress.
• Maintain regular communication with clients regarding their claims.
• Request, review, organize, and maintain medical records and supporting documentation.
• Respond to insurance carrier requests and correspondence.
• Prepare and assemble medical demand packages.
• Maintain accurate electronic and physical case files.
• Coordinate with attorneys, medical providers, and insurance companies to keep cases moving efficiently.
• Assist with additional pre-litigation case management responsibilities as needed.

Location

Paramus, NJ – This is a full-time, 100% on-site position where you'll work closely with attorneys and clients in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented office.

Note

Applicants must have at least 2 years of personal injury law experience. Experience with New York and New Jersey no‑fault claims is highly preferred.
