Position Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal who can independently manage a substantial caseload from pre-litigation through litigation, settlement, and resolution.
This is a high-ownership position for someone who understands what needs to happen on each file, stays ahead of deadlines, anticipates the next steps, and keeps the Managing Attorney informed without requiring constant direction.

Key Responsibilities
- Independently manage a full caseload from intake through resolution.
- Handle case workup, medical records and damages development, liens, demands, negotiations, settlement documentation, and disbursements.
- Draft and manage pleadings, discovery, motions, subpoenas, affidavits, and court filings.
- Review incoming discovery and correspondence and identify required follow-up.
- Manage the Managing Attorney's calendar and track statutes of limitation, discovery deadlines, and other critical dates.
- Prepare attorneys for depositions, mediations, hearings, voir dire, and trial.
- Prepare complete and organized trial binders.
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, courts, experts, medical providers, and vendors.
- Support Case Managers and Intake staff and step in where needed to keep matters progressing.
- Proactively identify missing information, stalled cases, and approaching deadlines and take action before issues arise.
- Handle both substantive case-management responsibilities and administrative tasks as required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of substantive paralegal experience.
- At least 3 years of personal injury experience.
- Significant experience handling both pre-litigation and litigation matters.
- Strong knowledge of Georgia civil litigation, discovery, court filings, calendaring, and deadlines.
- Experience supporting attorneys through depositions, mediation, hearings, voir dire, and trial.
- Proven ability to independently manage a substantial caseload and deadlines.
- Strong judgment regarding what can be handled independently versus what requires attorney involvement.
- Excellent attention to detail, reliability, and follow-through.
- Associate degree in Paralegal Studies or a comparable field required.
- Paralegal Certificate required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- Georgia Notary Public commission.
- Experience working in a growing personal injury practice handling matters from pre-litigation through litigation.
