DK Law is seeking a Legal Negotiator to lead a team in pre-litigation, spearheading high-stakes settlement demands and negotiations. This in-office role in Costa Mesa requires a legal strategist, persuasive writer, and tenacious negotiator to transform complex injury cases into financial recoveries.

The position is full-time at our Costa Mesa HQ with top-tier benefits and a collaborative culture focused on impact, growth, and client advocacy.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Personal Injury Law experience.
• Experience negotiating high value cases ($250k+).
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsabilités

• Lead settlement negotiations with insurers and defense firms to maximize client recoveries.
• Review and analyze demands to identify damages and liability.
• Develop negotiation strategies considering policy limits and defense positions.
• Communicate with adjusters, defense counsel and stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Maintain thorough records of all negotiations and correspondence.
• Monitor case status and ensure timely client communication.
• Coordinate with attorneys, paralegals, and staff throughout the process.
• Keep records of written and verbal communications with clients.
• Ensure calendar accuracy and case deadlines.
