Altivera Medical is seeking a Senior Leader to supervise the Personal Injury billing team, focusing on attorney liens, LOps, and no-fault workflows. The role emphasizes strong billing expertise, frontline leadership, sound judgment, and ongoing team development.

The ideal candidate will drive compliance, manage throughput, and partner with Legal, Compliance, and Reimbursement to optimize revenue cycle performance while mentoring staff and advancing professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory or people-leadership experience in healthcare reimbursement or revenue cycle.
• Demonstrated experience supervising personal injury medical billing operations.
• Strong knowledge of attorney liens, LOPs, third-party liability claims, and insurance workflows.
• Proven ability to communicate and negotiate with attorneys, adjusters, TPAs, and related stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, organizational, coaching, and front-line leadership skills.
• Notary Public certification required or ability to obtain upon hire (company-sponsored).

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operations of the Personal Injury billing team ensuring productivity, quality, compliance, and service expectations.
• Execute workflows and procedures while identifying improvements for PI and third-party liability billing.
• Monitor accounts receivable performance, workload distribution, claim resolution timelines, and KPIs.
• Drive accountability through performance management, coaching, feedback, and clear expectations.
• Partner cross-functionally to resolve escalations and improve operational effectiveness.
• Oversee complex claim resolution with attorneys, adjusters, carriers, and TPAs.
• Ensure communication and activity align with company standards and values.
• Support staffing and workload recommendations based on volume and needs.
• Identify trends and risks and elevate recommendations to management.
• Support team reporting and KPI tracking.
