Boutique Recruiting is seeking an Arizona Personal Injury Attorney to manage a high‑volume caseload from Phoenix. The role requires dual Bar admissions (Arizona and California), a JD from an ABA‑accredited school, and strong writing and advocacy skills.

You will oversee strategy, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and negotiations while maintaining client communication. The attorney will handle pre‑litigation and litigation matters, travel to Irvine onboarding, and collaborate with teams

Qualifications

  • Active and unrestricted Arizona Bar license; California Bar license required.
  • Juris Doctor degree from an ABA‑accredited law school.
  • At least one year of civil litigation experience.
  • Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to independently manage a substantial caseload.

Responsibilities

  • Independently manage approximately 120–140 active personal injury cases.
  • Handle a caseload with 60–70% pre‑litigation and 30–40% litigation matters.
  • Develop and execute case strategies from initial evaluation through settlement or trial.
  • Handle matters involving motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, dog bites, sexual assault, funeral home abuse, government claims and medical malpractice.
  • Conduct and defend depositions.
  • Manage written discovery and deadlines.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, settlement demands and agreements.
  • Represent clients during court appearances, mediations, depositions and arbitrations.
  • Prepare cases for trial with organized evidence and witness preparation.
  • Conduct regular settlement negotiations with opposing counsel and insurers.

Position Title: Arizona Personal Injury Attorney

Salary Range: $100,000–$180,000 / DOE

We are seeking an Arizona-based Personal Injury Attorney who is licensed in both Arizona and California to manage a high-volume caseload involving pre‑litigation and litigation matters. This attorney will oversee case strategy, discovery, depositions, motion practice, settlement negotiations, court appearances, and trial preparation while maintaining consistent client communication. The ideal candidate is a strong legal writer and confident advocate who thrives under pressure, welcomes direct feedback, and takes complete ownership of their cases.

Personal Injury Attorney - Phoenix Responsibilities
  • Independently manage approximately 120–140 active personal injury cases
  • Handle a caseload consisting of approximately 60–70% pre‑litigation matters and 30–40% litigation matters
  • Develop and execute case strategies from initial evaluation through settlement or trial
  • Handle matters involving motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, dog bites, sexual assault, funeral home abuse, government claims and medical malpractice
  • Conduct and defend depositions
  • Manage written discovery and ensure all deadlines are met
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, settlement demands and settlement agreements
  • Represent clients during virtual and in‑person court appearances, mediations, depositions and arbitrations
  • Prepare cases for trial, including organizing evidence, developing case themes and preparing witnesses
  • Conduct regular settlement negotiations with opposing counsel and insurance representatives
  • Maintain frequent, compassionate and transparent communication with clients
  • Review work completed by paralegals, litigation assistants, demand writers and other support staff
  • Collaborate with attorneys and support teams across the firm’s Arizona and California offices
  • Manage competing priorities and deadlines without compromising accuracy or work quality
  • Maintain organized and accurate case files using the firm’s case management systems
Personal Injury Attorney - Phoenix Requirements
  • Active and unrestricted Arizona Bar license
  • Active and unrestricted California Bar license
  • Juris Doctor degree from an ABA‑accredited law school
  • At least one year of civil litigation experience
  • Experience working in a high-volume legal practice
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Ability to independently manage a substantial caseload
  • Experience handling client communication, settlement negotiations and court appearances
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to review support staff work for accuracy
  • Ability to work quickly under pressure while producing high-quality work
  • Empathetic and responsive approach to working with injured clients
  • Confidence accepting direct feedback, asking questions, and taking ownership of outcomes
  • Ability to work onsite in Phoenix and attend initial onboarding in Irvine
Preferred Qualifications
  • Plaintiff‑side personal injury experience
  • Experience taking and defending depositions
  • Trial preparation or trial experience
  • Experience collaborating with teams across multiple offices
  • Plaintiff‑side employment, workers’ compensation, mass tort or elder abuse experience
  • Familiarity with Filevine, Westlaw, LexisNexis and legal AI platforms
