Confidential Employer in Phoenix, AZ seeks a highly capable attorney to lead personal injury litigation from strategy through trial. You will collaborate with seasoned attorneys, gain first-chair experience, and advance cases involving auto accidents, premises liability, and medical malpractice.

Qualifications

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • Active Arizona and California Bar licenses.
  • 1+ year of personal injury law experience.
  • Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent client communication and courtroom advocacy abilities.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple priorities, cases, and deadlines.
  • Hands-on litigation experience with discovery, depositions, motions, mediation, or trial preparation preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Handle all aspects of personal injury litigation, including case strategy, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
  • Manage cases from active litigation through settlement, arbitration, or trial.
  • Take and defend depositions and represent clients in court, mediation, and arbitration.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, settlement agreements, and other persuasive legal documents.
  • Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and insurance representatives.
  • Communicate frequently and professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and courts.
  • Independently manage an active caseload while collaborating with attorneys and support staff.
  • Gain first-chair and second-chair experience in arbitrations and jury trials.
  • Work on matters involving auto accidents, premises liability, medical malpractice, elder abuse, sexual abuse, and other serious personal injury claims.

Job description

Pay: $100,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
