Job summary

Ekspert Counsel in Miami seeks an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join a growing plaintiff-side practice. The role requires managing cases from pre-suit through trial, vigorous advocacy for injured clients, and strong litigation skills.

Ideal candidates will be admitted to the Florida Bar, hold a J.D., and have 3+ years of personal injury experience, including depositions, motions, and settlements. Bilingual English and Spanish is required to serve a diverse client base.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active Florida Bar membership in good standing.
• Minimum of 3 years of personal injury litigation experience.
• Trial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage a personal injury caseload from pre-suit through litigation and resolution.
• Develop case strategy and oversee all aspects of litigation.
• Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal filings.
• Take and defend depositions, including parties, witnesses, and experts.
• Attend court hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, and other litigation proceedings.
• Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and opposing counsel.
• Prepare cases for trial and actively participate in trial proceedings.
• Communicate regularly with clients regarding case developments and litigation strategy.
• Review medical records, billing records, and evidence to assess damages and liability.
• Collaborate with support staff to ensure efficient case management and exceptional client service.

Ekspert Counsel is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join a growing plaintiff-side personal injury practice in Miami. This role is ideal for a seasoned attorney who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys advocating for injured clients, and has substantial experience managing personal injury cases through litigation and resolution.

The ideal candidate will have strong litigation experience, excellent courtroom skills, and the ability to independently manage a caseload from pre-suit through trial. Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is required.

Compensation

• up to $150k base
• Bonus: 10% on case fees
• Bonus: 40% on cases you originate and settle
