Job summary

Orion Placement is seeking a plaintiff-side personal injury attorney in Las Vegas to manage cases from discovery through trial. The position offers ownership of meaningful matters, a strong compensation structure, and a hybrid workweek with one remote day.

The firm supports litigators with ongoing development and case exposure. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of relevant litigation experience, a Nevada Bar license in good standing, a J.D., and strong advocacy and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of plaintiff personal injury litigation experience.
• Active Nevada Bar license in good standing.
• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Strong knowledge of Nevada personal injury litigation and civil procedure.
• Experience with discovery, depositions, legal research, motion practice, mediation, and case strategy.
• Strong written advocacy, communication, organization, and deadline-management skills.
• Trial experience is preferred.
• Filevine experience is preferred.
• Spanish language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage plaintiff personal injury matters through the litigation lifecycle, including discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediation, settlement, and trial preparation.
• Develop and execute litigation strategies designed to strengthen cases and maximize client outcomes.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, discovery responses, briefs, and other litigation documents.
• Take and defend witness, expert, and party depositions.
• Prepare for and attend mediations, arbitrations, settlement conferences, hearings, pretrial conferences, and trials.
• Conduct legal research and prepare persuasive written arguments.
• Communicate regularly with clients, experts, opposing counsel, and other parties throughout litigation.
• Manage an active caseload while meeting court deadlines and maintaining excellent client service.
• Collaborate with fellow attorneys and staff to efficiently move cases toward successful resolution.

Pay: $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
