Job summary

Confidential Employer in Las Vegas seeks an experienced plaintiff personal injury litigator to take meaningful ownership of complex cases and lead from first chair in civil jury trials.

You will manage cases through all stages, shape strategy, and work with a collaborative team while maintaining autonomy. A California or Nevada bar license and 6+ years of PI experience are required. We offer strong benefits and professional development in a hybrid Las Vegas setting.

• 6+ years of plaintiff personal injury litigation experience.
• Strong knowledge of state laws, civil procedure, and litigation processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage plaintiff personal injury cases through all stages of litigation.
• Draft, review, and file discovery, motions, oppositions, and other litigation documents.
• Draft and argue substantive motions, including oppositions to summary judgment.
• Negotiate effectively with insurance carriers and opposing counsel.
• Serve as first chair in civil jury trials and lead courtroom strategy.

Note:

Must have an active Bar license in California and/or Nevada, 6+ years of plaintiff personal injury experience, and the ability to independently manage personal injury litigation matters. First-chair civil jury trial experience is strongly preferred.

Job Description

• Manage plaintiff personal injury cases through all stages of litigation.
• Perform in-depth analysis of liability, damages, evidence, and case strategy.
• Draft, review, and file discovery, motions, oppositions, and other critical litigation documents.
• Draft and argue substantive motions, including oppositions to motions for summary judgment.
• Negotiate effectively with insurance carriers and opposing counsel.
• Maintain consistent communication with clients and provide clear case updates.
• Serve as first chair in civil jury trials and lead courtroom strategy.
• Conduct legal research and prepare persuasive briefs and litigation documents.
• Develop and execute litigation strategy independently while collaborating with attorneys, paralegals, and legal support staff.
• Manage multiple cases, deadlines, and competing priorities while maintaining excellent client service and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Active Bar license in California and/or Nevada and in good standing.
• 6+ years of directly relevant plaintiff personal injury litigation experience.
• Strong knowledge of state laws, regulations, and civil litigation procedures.
• Demonstrated experience independently managing personal injury cases.
• First-chair civil jury trial experience preferred.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, negotiation, and oral advocacy skills.
• Proven ability to develop case strategy and advocate effectively for clients.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively while working with a high degree of independence.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not required.
