Orion Placement is seeking an entry-level attorney to launch a personal injury practice in Greenville, NC. This on-site role offers practical client advocacy, case development, and direct collaboration with experienced attorneys.

The ideal candidate holds a North Carolina Bar license, with a preference for those with early personal injury exposure and strong research, writing, and communication skills. This position emphasizes preparation, client service, and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Active North Carolina Bar license required.
• Entry-level attorneys and recent law school graduates licensed in North Carolina encouraged to apply.
• 1+ years of personal injury law experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to communicate professionally and compassionately with clients.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and deadline management.
• Interest in developing litigation, negotiation, and personal injury case management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with and manage personal injury matters from initial case development through resolution.
• Meet with clients and provide clear, compassionate guidance throughout the legal process.
• Investigate claims, review records, evaluate evidence, and help develop effective case strategies.
• Draft pleadings, motions, correspondence, demands, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and support litigation strategy.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, insurance representatives, medical providers, and other parties.
• Assist with settlement negotiations and prepare matters thoroughly for litigation when necessary.
• Track deadlines, case developments, records, and client communications.
• Collaborate closely with attorneys and support staff to provide responsive, high-quality representation.
