Jobot is seeking a Personal Injury Attorney in Baltimore, MD to represent clients in personal injury matters, conduct thorough investigations, draft and file pleadings, and guide cases through all litigation stages from discovery to trial.

The ideal candidate has a Juris Doctorate, active State Bar, 5+ years in personal injury, a proven record in motor vehicle and wrongful death cases, with strong research, writing, and deposition skills.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• Active State Bar admission.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Personal Injury Attorney.
• Proven track record in motor vehicle accidents and wrongful death cases.
• Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
• Strong case management skills with the ability to handle a large caseload and multiple deadlines.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Represent clients who have suffered personal injuries in legal proceedings.
• Conduct thorough case investigations to identify potential defendants.
• Draft and file legal documents, including complaints, motions, and discovery requests.
• Conduct legal research to support legal proceedings and to stay updated on current laws and interpretations.
• Manage all phases of the litigation process, from investigation, pleadings, and discovery to pre-trial, trial, settlement, and appeal.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients in mediation and other alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
• Active member of the State Bar in good standing.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Personal Injury Attorney.
• Proven track record in handling motor vehicle accidents and wrongful death cases.
• Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
• Strong case management skills, with the ability to handle a large case load and manage multiple deadlines.
• Experience conducting and defending depositions.
• Experience in mediation and other alternative dispute resolution methods.
• Excellent negotiation skills, with a track record of successful settlements.
