Job summary

Confidential Employer in Newark, NJ seeks a plaintiff-side personal injury attorney with 4+ years of experience to handle litigation from filing through trial. The role offers the chance to work closely with a cohesive in-office litigation team in New Jersey's active market.

You will draft pleadings, take and defend depositions, appear in court, and develop case strategy while collaborating with clients and experts to drive strong outcomes. Excellent communication and team fit are essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years personal injury attorney experience (plaintiff-side preferred)
• Admitted to the New Jersey bar
• Strong litigation skills
• Ability to manage a caseload independently while thriving in a team environment
• Spanish language skills are a plus

Responsibilities

• Handle plaintiff-side personal injury matters from active litigation through resolution, managing files with urgency and organization
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery demands and responses, and a full range of litigation documents
• Take and defend depositions across a varied personal injury caseload
• Appear in court for conferences, hearings, and motion practice
• Develop case strategy, evaluate liability and damages, and drive matters toward strong outcomes
• Collaborate closely with clients, experts, medical providers, and internal team members throughout the life of the case
• Prepare cases for trial and actively support trial strategy as needed
• Maintain strong client communication and manage expectations with professionalism and empathy

Location:

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Newark, NJ, offering the opportunity to work closely with a cohesive in-office litigation team in one of New Jersey's most active legal markets.
