BCG Attorney Search is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join a Fort Lee, NJ office with a minimum of 5 years of personal injury litigation experience. Qualifications

• Licensed New Jersey attorney in good standing.
• Minimum 5 years of personal injury litigation experience.
• Experience in plaintiff's personal injury law.
• Comfortable managing a significant caseload.
• Strong legal writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage plaintiff's personal injury cases from inception through resolution and trial.
• Appear in court and handle routine and substantive court conferences.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery demands, and responses.
• Prepare and respond to interrogatories and other discovery.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Conduct legal research and draft motions and briefs.
• Handle motion practice and discovery disputes.
• Participate in settlement negotiations and mediations.
• Prepare cases for arbitration and trial.
• Assist with appeals and appellate matters as appropriate.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, insurance carriers, and experts.

Requirements

• Comfortable appearing in court and handling litigation independently.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a team.

Education

Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications
