Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans for the course.
  • Instruct students in a hands-on, supportive classroom environment, accommodating all skill levels.
  • Provide clear demonstrations of tools, materials, and appropriate techniques.
  • Encourage creativity, participation, and skill development among students.
  • Maintain a safe and clean classroom/kitchen/workspace environment.
  • Provide a list of necessary materials and tools for each session; assist in managing class supplies.
  • Arrive prepared and on time for all scheduled classes.
  • Maintain accurate attendance records daily. Technology will be provided in the classroom.
  • Offer feedback and guidance to help students improve their skills.
  • Stay up to date with current trends and innovations in your desired field.

The Personal Enrichment Instructor will teach non-credit, personal enrichment classes to adult learners. This instructor will lead hands-on courses designed to help students develop skills in Arts and Crafts (ex. Painting, Drawing, Textiles, Fibers, etc.). The ideal candidate has a passion for teaching, excellent communication skills, and a strong background in their desired discipline.

Min Salary $21.90

Max Salary $25.65

Minimum Qualifications

Required:

  • Proven experience in your field (professional, commercial, or extensive personal experience).
  • Strong knowledge of tools, materials, and current trends in your field.
Preferred Qualifications

Preferred:

  • Passion for teaching and sharing your knowledge.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage a diverse classroom of adult learners.
  • Comfortable with technology, computers, and online attendance management systems.
