Physical Requirements

This job requires the employee to stand regularly, use hands to handle or feel, and talk or hear. Occasionally, the employee may reach with hands and arms, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee may occasionally lift up to 10 lbs., seldom 25 lbs. Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints. Mathematical Skills

Ability to work with concepts such as probability and statistical inference, fundamentals of plane and solid geometry, and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to intellectual and practical problems. Ability to handle nonverbal symbolism (formulas, scientific equations, graphs, musical notes, etc.) in difficult phases. Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.

Work Environment

The work environment may involve occasional work near moving mechanical parts or in a laboratory. The employee must follow safety rules, operate laboratory equipment, and tolerate laboratory chemicals. Noise level is usually moderate.
