Job summary

Comfort Keepers seeks a compassionate, reliable in-home caregiver to support seniors with daily living tasks, mobility transfers, and meaningful companionship. This role enhances clients' independence and quality of life by providing attentive, non-medical care in their homes.

Applicants should have at least 1 year of caregiving experience; a valid driver’s license and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs are required. CNA preferred but not mandatory. Training and weekly pay are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on caregiving experience (in-home care, facility, or private care).
• Experience with transfer equipment and dementia care preferred.
• Requires valid driver’s license, active auto insurance, and a reliable personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Mobility & transfer support using gait belts, sit-to-stand devices, and mechanical lifts.
• Personal care tasks: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, meal preparation.
• Care plan execution: follow Plans of Care, maintain safe environment, monitor fall risks, report changes.
• Provide companionship: engage socially, listen, and offer emotional support.

Comfort Keepers is seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced Caregiver to provide high-quality, non-medical in-home support for seniors. In this role, you will play a vital part in enhancing our clients' independence and quality of life by assisting with physical transfers, daily living routines, and meaningful companionship.

Pay & Benefits

• Pay Rate: $15.00 – $18.00 per hour
• Weekly Pay: Direct deposit every week

Key Responsibilities

• Mobility & Transfer Support: Safely assist clients with walking, standing, and physical transfers using equipment such as gait belts, sit-to-stand devices, and mechanical lifts.
• Personal Care: Help clients with everyday essential tasks, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and meal preparation.
• Care Plan Execution: Follow custom Plans of Care, maintain a safe living environment, monitor for fall risks, and report changes in client conditions.
• Companionship: Provide engaging social interaction, active listening, and emotional support.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of hands-on caregiving experience (in-home care, facility, or private care). Experience with transfer equipment and dementia care preferred.
• Transportation: Valid driver’s license, active auto insurance, and a reliable personal vehicle.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to safely lift up to 25 lbs, perform physical transfers
• Professionalism: Excellent communication skills, strong punctuality, and a safety-first mindset.
• Comfort with Pets: Comfortable working in homes with pets present.
• Certification: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license preferred, but not required.
