Comfort Keepers is seeking a dependable, organized, and compassionate caregiver to provide personalized, one-on-one support to a client in Fort Worth, Texas.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in providing quality care, pays attention to details, and consistently follows the client's individualized Plan of Care.

The ideal candidate is professional, punctual, receptive to coaching, and committed to helping the client maintain comfort, safety, and independence at home.

Pay and Benefits

• $15.50–$17.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications

Your Responsibilities

Caregivers provide assistance according to the client's individual needs and established Plan of Care.

Responsibilities may include:

• Providing companionship and engaging conversation
• Assisting with activities of daily living, as needed
• Providing medication reminders
• Preparing meals and supporting the client's nutritional needs
• Performing light housekeeping and laundry
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment
• Providing transportation when required
• Observing and reporting changes in the client's condition or care needs
• Completing care logs and required documentation accurately and on time
• Respecting the client's preferences, routines, and established care procedures
• Communicating promptly with the office team regarding client needs or concerns

What Success Looks Like in This Role

Consistency and attention to detail are important for this assignment. The selected caregiver will be expected to:

• Arrive on time and maintain reliable attendance
• Wear scrubs or other appropriate professional attire while on duty
• Avoid perfume and heavily scented personal care products
• Limit personal phone use during working hours, except when necessary for work or emergencies
• Remain attentive to the client's needs and safety
• Complete all required documentation accurately
• Follow care instructions and established procedures consistently
• Communicate scheduling concerns, supply needs, and client-related updates promptly
• Accept coaching and constructive feedback professionally

Qualifications

• At least one year of caregiving experience in a home care agency, healthcare facility, or private-care setting
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable transportation and current auto insurance
• Ability to perform the essential physical duties of the position, including safely lifting at least 25 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to use a phone, text, or email for work-related communication
• Senior care, personal care, or dementia care experience is an advantage
• Willingness to complete required company training
