Job summary

Right at Home, LLC is seeking compassionate caregivers to support seniors and disabled adults in their homes in the North Central Indianapolis area. You will perform personal care, help with daily activities, and enable clients to stay in familiar surroundings.

Flexible shifts are available with immediate hiring across all schedules. Training and development opportunities accompany weekly pay and referral bonuses to recognize your dedication.

Qualifications

• Verbal communication and listening skills.

• Possess a valid driver's license and have use of an insured and reliable automobile.
• Communicate effectively with office staff regularly.
• Must be willing to follow all company policies and take direction from office staff.

Responsibilities

• Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living.
• Personal hygiene assistance (bath, grooming, oral care).
• Ambulation, dressing, feeding support.
• Engagement activities with client (puzzles, card games, conversation).
• Assist with prescribed range of motion exercises and meal prep.
• Perform homemaking tasks such as cleaning, laundry, dishes, and bed linens.

Caregiver Essential Functions

• Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living which include (but are not limited to):
• Personal hygiene (assisting to bathroom or in using bedpan, bathing, care of mouth, skin and hair)
• Ambulation
• Dressing
• Grooming
• Assists with feeding
• Engagement activities with client (puzzles, card games, conversation)
• Performs patient‑specific activities that are taught by a nurse. These could include (but are not limited to):
• Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises
• Meal Preparation in accordance to instruction
• Performing homemaking activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathrooms.
