Job summary

Supportive Concepts for Families in Reading, PA seeks a compassionate Personal Care Attendant to provide everyday support in a community-based residential setting.

You will help residents with daily tasks, meal prep, housekeeping, and social activities, while maintaining safety and quality of life. Flexible schedule; some evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • At least 18 years old.
  • Six months to one year experience in personal care setting preferred.
  • Knowledge of IDD/BH population.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Team player.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Residents with Daily Tasks.
  • Meal Preparation.
  • Housekeeping.
  • Organizing & Plan Social Activities.
  • Medication Administration.
  • Promote care, safety, and health of all individuals.
  • Accurate completion of required paperwork (medication logs, daily logs, residential log).
