Job summary

Supportive Concepts for Families, Inc. is hiring a Residential Specialist to provide direct care and support in a residential setting across PA locations including Carnegie, Coraopolis, Greentree, North Hills, and Wexford. The role offers full-time hours and a starting pay of $17 per hour plus a $2,000 sign-on bonus.

No experience is required; paid training is provided. You will help individuals with disabilities achieve personal goals, build independence, and participate in meaningful community

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid Driver's License.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to provide hands-on support and physical assistance when needed.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting.
• Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene, meal preparation, and daily living activities.
• Support individuals in achieving personal goals, building independence, and participating in meaningful community activities.
• Provide companionship, encouragement, emotional support, and person-centered care that promotes dignity and respect.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming home environment while following individualized support plans and goals.

What You'll Do

Schedule

• Evening, weekend, and holiday hours may be required
• Additional shifts may be available based on program needs

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and assist individuals as needed
• Ability to provide physical assistance and hands-on support when necessary
• Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
