Job summary

Circle of Life Personal Care in Northwest Arkansas seeks compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical care, companionship, transportation and light housekeeping. You can choose assignments and coverage areas that fit your needs, with flexible PRN scheduling and ongoing training opportunities.

Starting pay is $16.50/hour with a weekend differential; annual increases based on performance; paid time off for full-time and part-time employees; health insurance for qualifying hours; education

Qualifications

• Prior caregiving experience preferred.
• Demonstrates compassion and ability to build rapport with clients.
• Able to work independently and demonstrate dependable work habits.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and sitting.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming.
• Transport to appointments and run errands.
• Meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Assist with recreational activities and exercise.
• Provide medication reminders.

Caregiver Qualifications

Prior caregiving experience preferred. Demonstrates compassion and an ability to build rapport with clients. Able to work independently and demonstrate dependable work habits. Excellent interpersonal skills. Must have valid and current driver's license or the ability to access reliable transportation. Able to meet pre-employment screening criteria.

Specific Duties May Include

• Companionship and sitting.
• Assistance with bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming and other ADL's.
• Transportation and assistance to appointments.
• Errand running and transportation to events.
• Meal preparation
• Assisting with light housekeeping
• Assisting with recreational tasks such as crafting, letter writing, exercising etc.
• Medication reminders
• Other duties as assigned.
