Job summary

Circle of Life Hospice is seeking caregivers to provide compassionate non-medical support to clients in Northwest Arkansas. The role offers flexible PRN scheduling, opportunities to choose assignments and coverage areas, and paid time off for eligible staff.

Starting pay is $16.50/hour with a weekend differential for shifts from 7pm Friday through 7am Monday, plus education assistance up to $2,500 annually and health insurance for eligible employees.

Qualifications

• Prior caregiving experience preferred.
• Must have valid and current driver's license or reliable transportation.
• Able to meet pre-employment screening criteria.
• Compassionate and able to build rapport with clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and sitting with clients.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, and other ADLs.
• Transport clients to appointments and errands.
• Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Support recreational activities and exercise as needed.
• Provide medication reminders and monitor client well-being.
• Other duties as assigned.

Caregiver Qualifications

Prior caregiving experience preferred. Demonstrates compassion and an ability to build rapport with clients. Able to work independently and demonstrate dependable work habits. Excellent interpersonal skills. Must have valid and current driver's license or the ability to access reliable transportation. Able to meet pre-employment screening criteria.

Specific Duties May Include

• Companionship and sitting.

• Assisting with recreational tasks such as crafting, letter writing, exercising etc.
