Job summary

Acts Retirement-Life Communities, Inc. is seeking a Personal Care Assistant in our assisted living community in Pennsylvania. You will work under a licensed nurse to deliver personal care per the care plan, assisting with bathing, dressing and hygiene, and support Life Engagement activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3-6 months of customer service experience in a related field.
• For Pennsylvania: Completion of the PA DHS Direct Care training course (online within first week).
• For Florida: AHCA Direct Care Training course with certificate, and Alzheimer’s/Dementia training hours as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care under supervision of a licensed nurse according to residents' care plan (hygiene/grooming).
• Assist Life Engagement team with activities and events.
