Acts Retirement-Life Communities, Inc. is seeking a Personal Care Assistant in our assisted living community in Pennsylvania. You will work under a licensed nurse to deliver personal care per the care plan, assisting with bathing, dressing and hygiene, and support Life Engagement activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3-6 months of customer service experience in a related field.
• For Pennsylvania: Completion of the PA DHS Direct Care training course (online within first week).
• For Florida: AHCA Direct Care Training course with certificate, and Alzheimer’s/Dementia training hours as required.

Responsabilités

Sprng House Estates is currently seeking qualified candidates for the role of Personal Care Assistant in our assisted living neighborhood.

We will train you to become a Medication Technician!

Under the supervision of a licensed nurse, you will provide personal care in accordance with the residents care plan, including assisting with basic hygiene and grooming needs (bathing, dressing, oral care, etc.). Assists the Life Engagement team members with activities and special events.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3-6 months of customer service experience in a related field
• For Pennsylvania : Completion of the PA DHS Direct Care training course (must be completed online within the first week of employment)
• For Florida : Must complete Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) prescribed Direct Care Training course with a certificate of completion. Must complete four hours of training, per Florida requirements, related to Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorders for Assisted Living and four additional hours of training if providing care to individuals living with Dementia in a dedicated Memory Care Unit.
• CPR and first aid certified or willingness to become certified

Pay Range
