Job summary

SYNERGY HomeCare of Livermore is seeking a part-time Personal Care Assistant to support clients across Livermore, Tracy, Mountain House, Manteca, Lathrop, and Stockton, CA. You will help with daily personal care, meals, and mobility, while building meaningful relationships with clients in their homes.

The role offers a competitive hourly wage of $19–$22, with flexible scheduling and opportunities for growth. Per diem benefits and ongoing training are included to support your development.

Qualifications

• At least one year of caregiving experience in home settings.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Willingness to register with the California Home Care Aide Registry or be eligible to complete registration.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Prepare meals and provide medication reminders.
• Assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
• Provide transportation to appointments or errands when needed.
• Maintain accurate care documentation and monitor client condition.

Schedule: This is a part-time, field-based position serving clients throughout Livermore, Tracy, Mountain House, Manteca, Lathrop, and Stockton, CA.

YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS MATTER

As our Personal Care Assistant, you'll assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support before sharing meaningful conversation and companionship that brightens their day. You'll also help prepare meals, provide medication reminders, assist with light housekeeping and laundry, and, when authorized, help with transportation to appointments or errands. Throughout each visit, you'll remain attentive to changes in a client's condition, documenting care accurately and ensuring they receive the compassionate, reliable support they deserve.

WHAT'S REQUIRED?

• Registered with the California Home Care Aide Registry or be willing and eligible to complete the registration

At least one year of caregiving experience in home care, assisted living, memory care, or a related setting, a current CPR and First Aid certification, experience supporting clients with dementia, mobility limitations, or personal care needs, valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current automobile insurance, strong communication, documentation, and relationship-building skills, and a current TB test (within the past 3 years) are preferred.
