SYNERGY HomeCare of Pleasant Hill is hiring compassionate Home Care Aides to join our growing team in Pleasant Hill, CA. Earn $21.00–$23.00 per hour plus a $2.00/hour attendance bonus, with flexible scheduling and openings available now.

As a Home Care Aide, you will help clients maintain safety, independence, and quality of life at home, with shifts across nearby communities. Bilingual candidates are a strong plus and we welcome immediate onboarding.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Proof of TB testing (2-step) or ability to obtain.
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain.
• Registered Home Care Aide (HCA) with California or willing to register.
• Bondable and pass a national background check.
• Good references from professionals and personal contacts.
• Complete orientation and online training modules.
• Physically able to perform light to moderate exertion including standing and repositioning clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, oral hygiene.
• Support meal planning, preparation, and grocery shopping.
• Provide medication reminders and monitor client well-being.
• Maintain accurate documentation and timely reporting to the office.
• Adhere to infection control, HIPAA, and dress code policies.
• Report changes in a client’s condition promptly.
• Clock in and out using our mobile app or timekeeping method.

What You'll Do:

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (preferred)

• Proof of current 2-step TB testing (or ability to obtain)

• Current CPR / First Aid certification (or ability to obtain)

• Registered Home Care Aide (HCA) with the state of California (or willing to register)

• Must be bondable and pass a national criminal background check

• Satisfactory professional and personal reference check

• Ability to complete SYNERGY HomeCare orientation and assigned online training modules

• Physically able to perform light to moderate exertion including standing, walking, kneeling, and assisting with client repositioning

Benefits:

• $21.00 – $23.00/hr base pay — competitive pay based on experience

• $2.00/hr Attendance Bonus — earn an additional $2.00/hr (up to $25.00/hr total) by completing all agreed-upon shifts during the pay period
