Job summary

SYNERGY HomeCare of Livermore is hiring a part-time Personal Care Assistant to serve clients across Livermore and nearby areas. You will provide personal care, companionship and light domestic support in clients’ homes, building meaningful relationships with those you help.

The role requires caregiving experience, registration eligibility with the California Home Care Aide Registry, and CPR/First Aid certification. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

WHAT'S THE SCOPE?

Pay: We offer our Personal Care Assistant a competitive wage of $19-$22 per hour.

Schedule: This is a part-time, field-based position serving clients throughout Livermore, Tracy, Mountain House, Manteca, Lathrop, and Stockton, CA.

YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS MATTER

As our Personal Care Assistant, you'll assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support before sharing meaningful conversation and companionship that brightens their day. You'll also help prepare meals, provide medication reminders, assist with light housekeeping and laundry, and, when authorized, help with transportation to appointments or errands. Throughout each visit, you'll remain attentive to changes in a client's condition, documenting care accurately and ensuring they receive the compassionate, reliable support they deserve.

WHAT'S REQUIRED?

• Registered with the California Home Care Aide Registry or be willing and eligible to complete the registration

At least one year of caregiving experience in home care, assisted living, memory care, or a related setting, a current CPR and First Aid certification, experience supporting clients with dementia, mobility limitations, or personal care needs, valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current automobile insurance, strong communication, documentation, and relationship-building skills, and a current TB test (within the past 3 years) are preferred.
