Job summary

Fairview Hospital / Cleveland Clinic is seeking Personal Care Aides to provide in-home care following individualized care plans. You will complete daily tasks via EVV, assist with bathing, grooming, and meal prep, and encourage independence for clients in their homes.

Applicants should have at least 6 months of caregiving experience, be 18+, and demonstrate strong communication and safety skills to ensure informed, compassionate, and safe client care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and ability to read and write required.
• At least 6 months of validated caregiving experience.
• Must be 18 years or older.

• Follow client care plans and complete daily tasks via EVV or electronic timesheets.
• Assist with personal care such as bathing, grooming, ambulation, meal prep, feeding, and using adaptive equipment.
• Encourage client self-help and promote independence.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
• Perform secondary tasks like laundry, light cleaning, grocery shopping, and meal preparation within scope.
• Respect client confidentiality and privacy, and provide quality, compassionate care.
• Assist with self-administration of medications (without direct administration).
• Report any client condition changes, safety concerns, or abuse to supervisors promptly.
