Job summary

Guthrie is seeking a Personal Care Aide for our Personal Care Home in Towanda, PA. The role involves providing compassionate, person-centered care to residents, assisting with ADLs, meals, and medication administration. Per Diem and part-time schedules vary by facility needs, including weekends and holidays.

Assistants will work within a supportive team to promote independence, dignity, and safe living for residents, with training provided on essential care tasks and safety practices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• CPR/First Aid/Medication Administration certifications required or provided upon hire.
• Department-approved Direct Care Training completed after hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring).
• Assist with Medication Administration.
• Assist in serving meals and ensuring adequate nutrition/hydration.
• Make rounds, anticipate needs, respond to call bells promptly.
• Maintain a safe, clean living environment and complete required documentation.
