Job summary

Guthrie is seeking a Personal Care Aide for its Personal Care Home in Towanda, PA. This part-time role supports residents with daily living activities, medication assistance, and nutrition needs to promote independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities include responding to call bells, documenting observations, and maintaining a safe, clean environment. Training in CPR/First Aid and medication administration is provided on hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Previous Personal Care Aide or direct care experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to read, write, and understand written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring).
• Assist with Medication Administration.
• Assist in serving meals and ensuring adequate nutrition and hydration.
• Respond to call bells promptly and make rounds to anticipate residents' needs.
