Interim HealthCare Inc. in Warner Robins, GA is seeking a Personal Care Aide (PCA) / Caregiver to help seniors live safely at home. You’ll provide personal care, companionship and practical support in a one-on-one setting.

This role offers flexible scheduling, on-the-job training and a path to CEUs, with an emphasis on compassion, reliability and dignity for clients.

Competenze

• High school diploma (or equivalent) and active GA PCA Certificate.
• One year healthcare experience preferred.
• CPR certification and first aid.

Mansioni

• Provide personal care and support to seniors at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living and light housekeeping.
• Support with meals, transportation, and companionship.
• Monitor condition, remind about medications, and report concerns.
• Create a safe home environment and engage clients in activities.

As a Personal Care Aide/Caregiver, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:

• Provide the personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation and companionship
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises
• Provide medication reminders, document their condition and notify a supervisor of any concerns
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies

A few must-haves for Personal Care Aides/Caregivers:

• High school diploma (or equivalent) and active PCA Certificate in GA
• One (1) year of experience in a healthcare role, preferred
• CPR certification and first aide
• Valid GAdriver’s license, auto insurance and transportation
• Compassionate and helping nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
