Interim HealthCare Inc. in Macon, GA is seeking a Personal Care Aide (PCA) / Caregiver to support seniors at home. You’ll perform personal care, mobility assistance, and companionship in a respectful, family-style environment.

The role emphasizes 1:1 client care, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for online training and CEUs. A compassionate demeanor and reliable transportation are required to deliver safe, quality home care.

Qualificações

• Active GA PCA certificate is required.
• High school diploma (or equivalent).
• CPR certification and First Aid.
• Valid GA driver’s license and own vehicle.
• Compassionate and helping nature; good communicator; ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsabilidades

• Provide personal care and support to seniors at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal prep, shopping, transportation and companionship.
• Aid with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders and document client condition; notify supervisor of concerns.
• Maintain a safe home environment with clear pathways.
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies.

As a Personal Care Aide/Caregiver, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:

• Provide the personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation and companionship
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises
• Provide medication reminders, document their condition and notify a supervisor of any concerns
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies

A few must-haves for Personal Care Aides/Caregivers:

• High school diploma (or equivalent) and active PCA Certificate in GA
• One (1) year of experience in a healthcare role, preferred
• CPR certification and first aide
• Valid GA driver’s license, auto insurance and your own personal vehicle
• Compassionate and helping nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
