Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. is seeking a Personal Care Aide (PCA)/Caregiver in Grantville, GA to support seniors at home. You will provide essential personal care, attend to daily activities, and help with mobility and safety.

A $200 sign-on bonus is offered along with flexible scheduling and online training opportunities. Qualifications include a GA PCA certificate, high school diploma, CPR/First Aid, TB screening, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and active PCA certificate in GA (Interim can assist with certification).
• One year of experience in a healthcare role is preferred.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification and TB screening are required.
• Valid GA driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide the personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation and companionship.
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders, document condition and notify supervisor of concerns.
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways.
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies.

As a Personal Care Aide/Caregiver, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:
