Home Or Away is seeking a dependable Personal Care Aide to provide essential, hands-on support for clients in their own homes. You will work one-on-one with clients to assist with daily living activities, meal preparation, light housekeeping, transportation to appointments, and documenting observations to ensure safety and comfort.

We value compassion, reliability, and strong communication. Certification in CPR and First Aid is required, and HIPAA privacy standards must be followed.

Qualifications

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

• Background: Prior experience in home care, assisted living, or memory care environments is preferred.
• Specialized Knowledge: Experience with dementia, Alzheimer’s, or developmental disabilities (Autism/IDD) is a plus.
• Compliance: A solid understanding of HIPAA and patient privacy standards.
• Credentials: Current CPR and First Aid certification is required (must be obtained prior to start date).
